PXE

The PXE mode is made for displaying informations reported by the PXE rom during a net boot. This mode will only be available when using PXElinux as bootloader.

CLI Mode

Entering PXE mode

From the CLI, you can enter the PXE mode by the following command 

hdt> pxe
pxe>

Displaying PXE information

The show command will display the available PXE information. When displaying the PXE information for the first time, the PCI detection occurs to compute the manufacturer & product name.

In addition, the MAC address and the IP address of the booted network card are shown. 

pxe> show
